We are so glad you have chosen to join us as we worship the Lord together in fellowship on His Holy Day — the Sabbath. Whether you are a regular member, or visiting with us for the first time, or joining us online, we want to make sure you know just how much we appreciate you joining us here at our Park Ridge Church. Our weekly Sabbath program starts with Sabbath School for all ages from 9:30am to 10:30am followed by the main Service at 10:50am through to 12:30pm — all are welcome.

We also run a range of community programs throughout the year, so please feel free to contact us if you would like more information.

Sabbath Sermon - Dear Church

This Sabbath, we continue our sermon series, "Dear Church - the acts of the church through the Spirit," by delving into Acts 2 and examining the growth of the early church. As we immerse ourselves in the account of how the Holy Spirit emboldened ordinary men and women to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, we will uncover valuable lessons and insights that are pertinent to our own spiritual walk and mission as a church.

Through the lens of Acts 2, we will witness the incredible impact of the Spirit's presence on the disciples, enabling them to speak in different languages and effectively communicate the Gospel to people from diverse backgrounds. As we reflect on their journey and the miraculous growth that followed, we will be challenged to re-evaluate our own commitment to sharing the love and truth of Christ with those around us. The nuclear explosion at Chernobyl on the 26th April, 1986, was the worst man-made disaster in history. 50 tonnes of radiation were released into the atmosphere. It contaminated millions of acres of forests and farmlands causing death and destruction. The disaster provides insights into the devastating effects of sin. It also provides insights into sin’s cure and reminds us that one day soon, God is going to set things right and create a new paradise-home for us.
